Michael Pelletier, Founder
Michael, his wife Cara, and their children Savannah, Tristan, Malia and Kyla.
Western Maine native Michael Pelletier has been providing premium painting services since his summer jobs in high school. In 1997 he officially started off as a residential painting and commercial painting with Perfect Shades Painting. He added carpentry in 2008 and renamed the company Clean Cut Painting:"Clean Cut" for a line of paint and "Clean Cut" for a saw line.
Since, the company has been steadily growing. It now serves the Greater Bethel Area, Lakes Region, Oxford Hills, and North Conway area, as well as Falmouth, Cumberland, Portland, Yarmouth, Freeport and beyond..
Clean Cut Painting Company is a proud member of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce.
Over the years, Michael has built up to three teams of three workers. Last year he approached a former employee, whose work quality and ethic he knew well, to take on a partnership. Tommy James, also a Bethel, Maine native, is now helping to coordinate their increased demand.
In addition to running his business, Michael is very involved in his home town of Bethel, serving on the Recreation Department for 10 years. He is also the High School Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, the K-12 Basketball Program Director and a member of the SAD44 Sports Boosters.

Sam Cochran on one of our many job sites.
Clean Cut Painting Company is proud to welcome Sam Cochran as a new partner to the newly formed corporation. Sam is a native of Delaware. He is the son of Mike and Hope Cochran. Sam moved to Orono to attend the University of Maine in 2015 where he studied mechanical engineering for four years. Sam was introduced to me by my daughter in 2016. He started working part time, often traveling from Orono to Bethel just to work for the weekend. His part-time employment turned into a full-time summer position where he set himself quickly set apart from others. His unique recipe of a tireless work habit, intuitive people skills, effortless leadership abilities, an Innovative mind of a millennial, and the wisdom of a grandpa made it an easy decision for Tommy and me to offer him a partnership in the fall of 2019.
